         * PROCEDURE FOR REPORTING INITIATES *

THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THE INDUCTION CEREMONY, FACULTY ADVISORS SHOULD SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING TO NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS:

  • A typewritten LIST with each student’s name and a permanent (not school) mailing address  (do not submit personal record cards)
  • The DATE OF INITIATION (month, day, year)
  • ONE CHECK payable to “Phi Alpha Theta” to cover the $40 per member induction fee (we cannot accept individual student checks)

  • MEMBERSHIP IS NOT OFFICIAL until all of the necessary information and fees ARE RECEIVED BY THE NATIONAL OFFICE!

  • MEMBERSHIPS SUBMITTED BY INDIVIDUALS OTHER THAN THE FACULTY ADVISOR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

NEW MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE:

  • An official membership certificate and their name will be printed in an upcoming issue of The Historian (please allow approximately 6 months)

  • A one-year subscription (4 issues) to our quarterly journal, The Historian.
